About Me
Thank you for considering me as your therapist!
After receiving a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, I completed a placement focused on sexual behaviours while working with the forensic population. I later completed a second Master’s degree in Counselling, Spirituality, and Psychotherapy at Saint Paul University, where my research explored non-monogamy within the context of therapy, with a focus on how clinicians can better support diverse relationship structures.
I have several years of experience working in brain injury rehabilitation, as well as supporting individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and addiction concerns.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology, where my research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and sex therapy, exploring how emerging technologies are shaping conversations around sexuality, relationships, kinks and therapeutic support.
I am qualified to provide psychotherapeutic services to adult individuals, couples, families, and groups.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and a Certified Member of the Association of Sex Therapy in Ontario.
My areas of specialty include sex therapy and alternative relationship styles, kink, mental health, and addictions. I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore questions around sexuality, identity, and relationships.
Philosophy
My approach to counselling is a very integrative one, which tailors itself depending on the needs and goals of the client. Collaboratively with you, as the client, assessment and treatment are defined as what fits best for you. The therapeutic alliance (the relationship you have with your therapist) is of utmost importance and it is very important that you feel comfortable.
