Much like the picture above, STIs (sexually transmitted infections) can be present without apparent symptoms. If you are sexually active with multiple partners or new partners, it’s always important to use protection (more on this in an upcoming post), get an STI screen by your family physician and have a discussion about it with your partner(s)! .
