What Is A Normal Nipple?

Nipples like all other body parts come in a variety of shapes and sizes and every one of them is normal and beautiful! .

While mainstream tv, porn and social media may only show one type of nipple - there is actually quite a bit of variation in nipple type. And SURPRISE! They’re all normal and likely more common than you think. Below are a few common variations: .

1. Inverted nipples (nipples that poke inward)
2. Unilateral inverted nipples (one that pokes inward)
3. No visible areola (the ring of color around the nipple)
4. Bumpy nipples (these nipples just have visible sweat glands we talked about in the previous nipple post)
5. Hairy nipples (many women have a few stray hairs - they can be fine or coarse)
6. Flat nipples (nipples that blend into the areola until they become erect)
7. Third nipple (that’s right Chandler Bing - not so uncommon ! )
8. Larger or smaller areolas
9. Longer or shorter nipples .
