Condoms

he quick and dirty about condoms. There are two types of condoms: the external, male or typical condom that goes over the penis or dildo and the internal or female condom that goes inside the vagina or anus. .
.
Condoms are the only form of birth control that is also effective at protecting against STIs. External condom is 89-98% effective at preventing pregnancy, while the internal condom is 79-95% effective. .
.
Condoms come in latex, polyurethane and lambskin ( note - lambskin condoms does not protect against STIs). .
.
Condoms should ideally be used with lube as it will decrease the friction and rubbing and make it less likely the condom will tear, as well as make it more comfortable for the receiving partner. (Lubricated condoms are typically not lubricated well enough.) .
.
Condoms are the most effective form of birth control to use while breastfeeding.
.
.
Flavoured condoms should only be used for oral sex as they are hard on the bodies natural internal ecosystems due to the usual sugar content. .
.
My final words on condoms - always check the expiration date at the store! No sense in going through the rigamarole of choosing, applying and using a condom, only to realize it won’t be as effective anyway.
