Facials, widely defined through heteronormative mainstream porn, as the act in which a man ejaculates onto a woman’s face as a form of submission or humiliation. In my opinion, putting facials in a heteronormative box of shame, leaves much out of the picture. This doesn’t take into consideration people’s context, desires and symbolism of the act. Not to mention, the fact that some women can ejaculate (more to cum (pun intended lol) in a future post) on their partners as well, additionally gay men, or trans folk may have a entirely different opinion on this topic. .

Bottom line - you can be in a submissive sexual role and still be a badass feminist, you can enjoy facials that don’t come from a place of shame. It’s also ok for this not to be your kink at all! Once again, a lot of this comes down to communication with your partner and personal preference when it comes to sexual acts. Don’t let heteronormative mainstream porn define your sexuality!
